Marc is a serial entrepreneur; having started companies across a number of sectors, he has also been an active angel investor in a number of start-ups and is the former Executive Director of the Long Island Angel Network (LIAN).
As a Corporate Attorney by training, he has been a consultant or advisor to a number of start-up companies and incubators in the Information Technology, Energy, Security, and Biotechnology sectors. Marc is on the Board of Directors of Peconic Bay Hospital and the Long Island Power Authority, one of the largest public power utilities in the nation, and on the Board of Advisors of a handful of not for profits, such as the Nassau Suffolk Law Services (provides civil legal services to the poor) and the East End Arts Council.
He is also a former New York State Legislator and had spear-headed legislation for entrepreneurial development & technology innovation.
Marc has a BA from SUNY Albany and a JD from Touro Law School.
